From 1950–80, ZDA was produced in the small town of Partizánske, during the era of Czechoslovakia. The discovery that the original soles, lasts, and manufacturing machines from that time still remained led to the brand’s revival. Today, each pair is carefully handcrafted in Slovakia using the same vintage machinery.
